WHERE IS ELSEWHERE?

Well, it certainly isn’t here. But, I also wouldn’t claim it to be anywhere else. So let’s just say it’s neither here nor there. In a certain sense, elsewhere is really the best possible place to be. A life of certainty will keep many of us sated for a time, but ambiguity piques curiosities, the devil’s advocate of complacency.

The elsewhere of this particular gallery happens to be a place where the imaginary lines of art and nature blur in unknown quantities. These photographs, free from both description and detail have been laid out to create an unfinished idea of what is known to be in the Arctic, an Arctic Elsewhere if you will.
